Voigtlander Color Skopar 21mm f/4 combines well with the camera's optical rangefinder, which provides accurate manual focusing (at a distance of 0.5 to 0.7 m, you need to focus on the screen, in Live View mode).
There is no 6-bit encoding for the lens, so the camera does not detect it automatically, but you can manually set the closest lens (Leica 21/2.8 Elmarit) via the menu – this will automatically correct vignetting and other aberrations in JPEG files on cameras from Leica M9 and newer.
With the help of simple adapter rings, the Voigtlander Color Skopar 21mm f/4 P-Typ can be used not only with Leica rangefinder cameras, but also with mirrorless cameras of almost any system: Leica L, Canon RF, Sony FE and so on.
