Classic metol-hydroquinone developer for b/w photographic films (per 1 liter of working solution). An analogue of the legendary Kodak D-76.
Universal developer, suitable for most negative photographic materials. Visually reduces the grain, has a leveling effect, gives a good elaboration of details in the shadows. It works well with the push process.
Preparation
The developer should preferably be prepared with distilled water, but boiled or filtered water is suitable.
1. Dissolve the contents of a small package in 700 ml of water 40-45 °C. The package should be rinsed from the inside with a small amount of warm water and drained into a working solution.
2. After completely dissolving the small package, dissolve the contents of the large one. It is also advisable to rinse a large package with water from the inside. 3. Bring the volume of water to 1 liter and cool the solution to operating temperature. Before use, it is advisable to let the developer infuse for several hours. Filter if necessary.Processing conditions
Recommended operating temperature is 20-24 °C. Processing time: see summary table on digitaltruth.com
Usage limit
Up to 10 "narrow" films of type 135/36 can be processed in 1 liter of developer. A slight turbidity of the partially used solution is acceptable. If necessary, re-filter.
Storage conditions
Store in a dark, cool place. In dry form, the developer is stored for at least 1 year. Working solution - at least 6 months in a tightly closed container filled under the throat. Partially used solution - up to 1.5 months. It is not recommended to store a working solution that has been used for more than half of the resource.
