Metal leveling developer for b/w photographic films (per 1 liter of working solution). An analogue of the Kodak D-23.
Universal developer with a pronounced leveling effect. It "pulls out" contrasting negatives well. It gives fine grain, good elaboration of details in the lights, practically eliminates the risk of re-appearance. Economical, stored for a long time.
Preparation
The developer should preferably be prepared with distilled water, but boiled or filtered water is suitable.
1. Dissolve the contents of a small package in 700 ml of water 40-45 °C. The package should be rinsed from the inside with a small amount of warm water and drained into a working solution.
2. After completely dissolving the small package, dissolve the contents of the large one. It is also advisable to rinse a large package with water from the inside. 3. Bring the volume of water to 1 liter and cool the solution to operating temperature. Before use, it is advisable to let the developer infuse for several hours. Filter if necessary.Processing conditions
Operating temperature 20-22 °C. Intensive agitation is not recommended for this developer. The working solution can be used undiluted, but the advantages of the developer are maximally revealed when diluted with water from 1 +1 to 1+3. See the summary table on digitaltruth.com
Usage limit
Up to 8 "narrow" films of type 135/36 can be processed in 1 liter of developer.
Storage conditions
Store in a dark, cool place. In dry form, the developer is stored for at least 1 year. Undiluted working solution - at least 6 months in a tightly closed container filled under the throat. Partially used solution - up to 2 months. It is not recommended to store a working solution that has been used for more than half of the resource.
