The Nikon F90 (Nikon N90 in the North American market) is a small-format autofocus single-lens reflex camera manufactured in Japan from 1992 to 2001. Nikon f90x - 1994 model with greater shutter speeds, improved autofocus and increased frame rate.

- The shutter speed range of the lamella shutter with vertical movement of the metal curtains is from 1/8000 to 30 seconds. Synchronization of electronic flashes at shutter speeds of at least 1/250 second.
- Rigid-built pentaprism viewfinder displaying 92% of the area of the future frame with a replaceable focusing screen;
- Exposure metering modes: 8-zone matrix, center-weighted and spot;
- Auto exposure modes: Shutter priority, aperture priority, and a programmed auto, complete with seven scene modes. Exposure compensation +/- 5 steps. In the "M" mode, semi-automatic exposure control is possible with control of its deviation along the scale in the viewfinder field of view;
- Automatic setting of the film speed by DX-code in the range from 25 to 5000 ISO, as well as the possibility of manual entry in the range from 6 to 6400 ISO;
- Phase detection autofocus with one cross-shaped focus point in the center of the frame. Single-frame and tracking autofocus with prediction of the position of moving objects;
- Electronic self-timer with a delay of 2 to 30 seconds and aperture repeater;
- The rear cover of the removable design can be replaced by the control MF-26, with the functions of imprinting the date, multiple exposure and timer shooting;
- Semi-automatic film loading and automatic rewind at the end of the film;
- Installing Nikon F mount lenses
