- Cast aluminum body, hinged rear wall.
- Frame size 6×6 cm.
- The type of photographic material used is film type 120 (12 frames) or film type 220 (24 frames). There was a mechanical film type switch on the frame counter.
- Shutter cocking and film rewind.
- Shutter curtain, focal, with fabric curtains, with a shutter speed range from 1/2 to 1/1000 s and "B".
- There is no self-timer.
- Synchrocontact "X". Synchronization speed of 1/30 s or more. There is no fastening for a flash lamp directly on the camera, installation on a separate bracket.
- Mounting lenses to the camera - bayonet B (with union nut). The B mount is similar to the Pentacon Six mount.
- Aperture repeater on the camera body.
- Regular lens with a "jumping" aperture "Vega-12B" 2.8 / 90, enlightened. Aperture values from 2.8 to 22.
- The viewfinder is reflex, the mirror is lowered when the shutter is cocked. Removable pentaprism or collapsible light shaft with magnifying glass.
- The focusing screen of the viewfinder is a Fresnel lens with a matte circle and a microraster in the center. The field of view of the prism viewfinder is 49 x 51.5 mm, the shaft viewfinder is 53 x 53 mm.
- Tripod socket with 3/8" thread.
